The functionality and design of VERTEX-21000FP, the top-of-the-range model of the Mizusawa Down Jacket series for 2023, have been updated. The outer fabric is extremely lightweight DERMIZAX® 30d NYLON TAFFETA with an excellent balance between strength and durable water repellency. The insulation is 1000FP down, the lightest and bulkiest available, providing unprecedented warmth and airy comfort. It is 10% lighter than the previous model, while warmth retention has also been improved, with its HEAT NAVI®, lining now pleated to increase the surface area where light is converted to heat. These new functions in this high performance model are in addition to its highly waterproof non-stitch, heat-bonded quilting and seam taping. The 1000FP insulation also uses DOWNPASS ※1 certified traceable down which is strictly controlled by serial number.
