A lightweight insulated vest in supple nylon using DTY (Draw Textured Yarn), a specialty of Japan’s Hokuriku region. The insulation is 3DeFX(R), an advanced material with multiple intricately intertwined 3D spiral fibers that offers superior loft, warmth, stretch and breathability. The shoulders, where backpack harnesses tend to cause friction, are reinforced with a waterresistant twolayer ripstop shell fabric. The waterrepellent finish uses ecofriendly C0 technology, free of fluorinated compounds. It has three zippered pockets: two at the sides and one on the left chest, which doubles as a selfpacking pouch for portability. Versatile enough for both outdoor activities and everyday active wear.
