How do you ensure your voice in translated visually in a global market?
By visually creating things that feel right to me, that bring me joy and sense of calmness.

Q.2.
Do you consider your style to be a part of your voice?
Not particularly, I consider it more to be a part of my mood. Changing with how I feel mentally that day or what I might be doing that day.

Q.3.
What do you consider to be most important when getting dressed? Aesthetics or honesty?
In past years it felt more like aesthetics but recently I’ve been enjoying the idea of an everyday uniform. So maybe it’s becoming more honesty.

Q.4.
As a multi-disciplonary creative, when do you feel most complete in your practice?
I’d say when I’m alone creating personal work. Usually at old traditional / folklore British events surrounded by strangers.

Q.5.
Travel is the ultimate means to bestowing upon us both cultural empathy and deeper understanding of our world, is there a place you have travelled to that has completely changed how you think and feel?
I’m not sure if there’s a specific place but maybe more a way of travelling. I feel when I go bike packing or travel far by foot, this is when my mindset about a lot of things changes the most.

Q.6.
Where are you happiest?
Either at my hometown in Cheddar or running/cycling in the mountains.

Q.7.
Do you travel heavy or light?
I’ve been known to travel heavy, going on trips with a lot of photo gear can be heavy! But I’m learning how to minimise things and travel lighter. Going back to the idea of a uniform and taking less with me.

Q.8.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt in your artists journey?
To do whatever brings you the most joy, experiment with new techniques and ideas the same way you did when you first started and to support your friends who’re on the same journey.

Q.9.
Can you give us three scenarios in which allterain would serve you best in your personal life and schedule?
First thing would be commuting. I’ve been travelling around a lot in this uniform, it feels light and effortless to move around in. Next would be working, the silhouettes fit into all environments and I tend to photograph in a lot of different terrains. And the final scenario would just be everyday life, by having one uniform that fits to every scenario in my personal and work life it allows me to be more minimal so I can focus more on my practice.

Q.10.
We are designing to be the intelligent choice for those who are native to their terrain – what part of the AT range do you feel best represents your innate individual style?
Every week looks different for me which can change my style a lot depending on what I’m doing. So I’d say the fabrics and cuts used as they’re so versatile and adapt to each different scenario I’m in.
