A hard-shell bonded wool bal collar coat with 10,000mm water resistance. Originally developed by Descente to maximize weight reduction, the 3-layer bonded wool material is made of soft textured 17.5 micron ultra-fine merino spun at 2/100 and mixed with recycled polyester. It has wool's inherent deep surface texture and drape, and also offers excellent durability and water resistance. It has wool’s efficient moisture management capabilities, enabling quick absorption of moisture inside the garment and dissipation to the outside. The front closure has Descente's unique Dual Ventilation System, with two rows of zippers and a mesh fabric between them allowing outside air in, and unpleasant heat and moisture to escape. The cuffs are equipped with Block Fit Adjusters for superior hold and fit even when wet. This waterproof long coat has a roomy feel, with an oversized silhouette, generous width and longer length.
